Well set up for takeaway during covid. contactless payment outdoor ordering contactless delivery to counter free doggy biscuits good value pricing Both hot chocolate and coffee were delicious and we wished we could have sat down on the picnic benches to enjoy, but sadly not possible at the moment. While attending a festival and not knowing the area. We decided to take dogs for a walk, we set out and literally stumbled across the Cafe, cuckoo shack. It opens from 10 Saturday and Sunday. It’s Situated on a farm. We arrived at 10, with all 5 dogs. We were greeted by members of staff with great big smile and a good morning. Always a good start. We were welcome in with all the dogs and shown to the seating area. Shown the menu, while water and treats for the dogs. Menu was small but enough. Toasty and panini‘s. Had good selection of fillings Hot drinks and cold, Cakes ice creams. Even ice creams for dogs Food was great as well filled and hot Recommended absolutely

Plain simple fare served well by cheerful helpful people. Nothing fancy but if you want a pit stop next to the Cuckoo Trail it's a good place to rest.

A short walk up the Cuckoo Trail on a very warm Sunday morning. Well situated for both walkers and bikers, as well as room to park a few cars. Simple food and drink, well prepared by friendly staff and at a reasonable price. Its a really pleasant location on part of a working farm. We have walked past many times, meaning to go in. Now we have been, we will be back again. Top tip: bacon sandwiches.
